Sweden - Malmo to Stockholm

Here at Barby Borg we can see the ruins of the fort and its basic structure judging by the raised sections of ground. It was an ancient hill fortification dated back to the 6th century. It is the only hill fort in Oland that uses a natural steep escarpment as part if its defences.
